This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my special education students hands-on science supplies to spark their curiosity and keep them focused and engaged! My classroom includes diverse learners who thrive with interactive, sensory-based materials. Science can be challenging for them, but with tools like large measuring instruments, safe experiment kits, and visual models, they can explore concepts through touch, sight, and movement.

These materials will help my students stay focused by providing engaging, hands-on activities that cater to their unique learning styles.

By actively participating in experiments, they’ll develop critical thinking and fine motor skills while connecting with science concepts in ways that are accessible and meaningful. Supplies like magnifying glasses and manipulatives allow them to stay actively involved, making science less abstract and more engaging.

Your support will not only provide science tools but will also foster a classroom environment where each student can be a young scientist, observing, questioning, and discovering. For my students, these supplies mean a chance to go beyond books and build confidence as they learn through hands-on. Your donation brings science to life, helping every student find the excitement and wonder in learning.
