My Project
My students learn best when they can explore concepts through hands-on activities and technology. I am requesting highlighters, markers, multi-sensory flash cards, whisper phones, erasers, and blank flash cards to enhance our classroom learning and improve their reading skills. These materials will allow my students to actively engage with lessons, collaborate with peers, and build problem-solving skills. Highlighters and markers will help students track important information in texts, making reading more interactive. Multi-sensory flash cards will provide tactile reinforcement for learning new words, while whisper phones will allow students to practice fluency and build confidence in their reading. Blank flash cards and erasers will be used for individualized practice, helping students reinforce sight words, phonics, and comprehension skills.
By providing these hands-on materials, my students will have the tools they need to take ownership of their learning.
Engaging resources will make reading fun and accessible, helping struggling readers build fluency, comprehension, and confidence. These items will also support students with different learning styles, ensuring that every child has an opportunity to succeed.
Goals for This Project:
Increase student engagement in reading activities through interactive tools.
Improve reading fluency and comprehension skills for struggling readers.
Provide differentiated learning experiences that meet the needs of all students.
Foster a love for reading and build confidence in emerging readers.
My students are resilient, curious, and eager to learn despite the challenges they face. They come from diverse backgrounds, and many are working hard to develop foundational reading skills. Their enthusiasm for learning is contagious, and they deserve access to materials that will empower them to reach their full potential. With the right resources, they will have the confidence and skills to become successful readers and lifelong learners.
