Energy + Comfort = Better Learning!

Help me give my students snacks for a boost of energy in addition to a classroom carpet to create a comfortable space for building rapport!

My Project

While most of my students qualify for free or reduced lunches, many students still need snacks to last through the school day. The snacks I am requesting will be used to give students a boost of energy when they are feeling sluggish during a lesson; when focus wanes, I would call for a “brain break” and distribute a set of snacks. The carpet will provide a comfortable and organized space for class discussions and for social-emotional learning; students will more quickly organize themselves using the divisions on the carpet I am requesting.

The COVID-19 pandemic has adversely affected my students’ physical, social, and emotional health.

These items will help support these needs in my students. From my experience, students who are well-fed and comfortable will learn better! Please consider my project. Thank you!
