Energy Bites to Start the Day Right!

Help me give my students breakfast bites and snacks to energize them to get their day started on the right foot!

My Project

Many of my students roll out of bed just in time to make it to class on time. Sometimes they don't even make it on time. Those days are spent hungry in class because they didn't have a chance to grab something for breakfast. These granola bars, cereal fruit bars and snacks will give my students something in their tummies so that they are energized enough to get through class on the right foot.

When you are hungry, or hangry as the new slang states, there isn't much you can focus on other than the growling in your belly.

My students will be able to grab something fast to eat on the way out to work on the farm so that their bellies are satisfied until they can have lunch. The Gatorade and spoons will be used after we work outside and need a refreshing drink to replace what we sweat out. The plastic bins will help to house all the breakfast bites and snacks so that they are all in one place and easy to access. Many times the students come hungry because they can't afford to go and buy breakfast before they come to school and these little bites will help them ease the hunger pains.
