This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will support my students’ physical wellness and help them be active.
A trampoline will allow my students an outlet to burn off some energy in between academic subjects.
The trampoline will be used in the classroom for fitness instruction. The trampoline will be used for bouncing exercises, knee jumps and short circuit routines. The use of the trampoline will allow my students to build coordination, strength and balance. Allowing my students to participate in fitness instruction on the trampoline will also build endurance and boost their mood.
The scooters will allow my students to engage in races and practice taking turns. The basketballs will be able to be used indoors and outdoors.
Exercise is beneficial to the body and mind.
The basketballs will help my students with their coordination. Six basketballs will allow my students to practice working together or in small groups.
My goal is to help my students learn and grow. Exercising will also increase my students focus with their academics.
My students have a lot of energy. This equipment will help my students burn off their energy in a healthy way.
My students are special because they come to school every day. They come full of energy and would benefit from having some fun equipment to use. The equipment would also be used to motivate my students to complete their assignments.
