Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students always claim they are tired and rundown. Just a single candy, cookie, or snack gives students a boost of energy to continue to do their work. My goal is by giving a student a treat, they will continue to be interactive and participate in the classroom. For example, a student was feeling rundown. I gave him a small snickers bar. The student was appreciative and continued working. Also, a good reward to give a student. I find more work gets completed when a reward is offered. Students are working together to accomplish their goals.
