This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are motivated, fun-loving children. Children in our school have to fight so much in this neighborhood so we push them to stand up for what they believe in and to do better than those who came before. They love to learn and read, though many of them struggle with this they still keep trying and working hard to accomplish their goals. I want students to keep pushing and working hard.
I want them to not only survive but to thrive and blossom into great achievers.
Helping to supply them with the materials needed to grow gives them the new adventures they need to never stop learning. This will help them to become the strong loving people we see inside.
My Project
These materials will help us to have snack supplies to keep students motivated and energized for learning. Many of our students come from underprivileged homes that may lack the ability to keep students fueled for learning. We must meet the fundamental need of students before demanding the energy used in completing works. We want to make sure that even though our students live in these food deserts they have ample supplies they need. These materials allow us to have snacks during the day to give students the necessary nutrition for the brains and bodies to grow. We want students to have all they need so they can be all they can be.
