My Students
My kindergarten students are an exciting group of high energy, mixed interests, abilities, and goals. My students love to sing, dance, and draw. We are a free, public, charter school that serves children who live in a district that is classified as low-income, with all children receiving free breakfast and lunch.
My students come to school every day eager and ready to learn.
I want to be able to give them the tools they need to learn and stay engaged.
My Project
This year, I have an energetic class of 22 Kindergarten students. The wobble chairs will give my students the flexibility of moving in their seats while still allowing them to be engaged and pay attention to the lesson.
Our class also has independent computer time, where they work on educational lessons.
It is important for the students to be able to hear their computers without all the background noise. The headphones will allow the students the freedom to hear what the computer is reading to them so they can do their very best to advance in their lessons.
