This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are so special! Many students in my class experience barriers to learning- including trauma, homeless, and poverty. When they walk into my classroom they are smiling, eager to learn, and feel loved in the community we have created!
My Project
After fulfilling my first Donors Choose project that gave my classroom a color printer, I am now hoping to purchase and use resources from the website “Teachers Pay Teachers” and to print these resources in color! This gift card will allow me to easily search for activities and templates that are perfect for third grade! With this project, I can quickly differentiate my teaching to meet the needs of the diverse learners in my classroom. I also plan to use these resources to enhance my teaching in the area of social-emotional learning.
