Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, my third graders are so eager to read! Any free moment during the day, most of my students are pulling out a book. My students even bring books with them to recess and lunch! I have a variety of books in my classroom library but there are still gaps with current books. The students have requested many of these books to be included in the library.

My goal for this project is to provide more high interest books that continue to spark my students love for reading.

No matter their reading ability, I want them to feel like they can enjoy the same fun books that their peers are reading. I am excited to see the joy of reading that will be evident in my classroom with these books!
