Let's end the year with a bang! I teach over 130 first and second graders and I would like to end this year on a high note! They have improved so much this year, but we are not finished. Centers and intervention instruction is an integral part of their daily learning and boy has it improved their reading, writing and math skills. The items I am requesting will help finish out the year with enthusiasm for learning going into the following school year.
I have the privilege of working with many students of diverse backgrounds.
My goal, with the help of materials requested, will bring all their learning up to level. Students respond well to small group learning and reading as they feel more comfortable in a positive environment with peers. The books, literacy, and math manipulatives my classes will use will create a good ending foundation for students going into the next year.
Children are naturally curious and have a huge interest in hands on and visual learning. They are full of wonder and questions and these materials can help open their world of knowledge! Let’s end the year with a bang!
