This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are hardworking, dedicated, and resilient! The items that I am requesting will help me host an end of the school year BBQ and field day for my self-contained special education students. My students have worked extremely hard and deserve a day of fun. This event helps our students build community and gives them the opportunity to socialize with their peers and teachers outside of the classroom. Our self-contained special education students will participate in various activities throughout the day that will also support academic goals in a setting outside of the traditional classroom.
