This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school year draws to an end, I am reflecting on the incredible and sometimes crazy journey my second-grade students have experienced. They are not just students; they are remarkable people who completed second grade with grace and resilience.

My sweet second graders worked so hard this year.

As a special end-of-year gift, I want to provide each student with their very own Squishmallow. These lovable companions will not only bring smiles to their faces but also serve as a tangible reminder of the love and support that surrounds them in our classroom.

In our classroom, we prioritize creating a supportive environment where every child feels valued and cared for. One thing that brings immense joy to my students is the simple pleasure of soft, cuddly companions. They adore anything that brings comfort and warmth, and Squishmallows are a particular favorite. These plush toys aren't just toys; they're sources of endless hugs, comfort, and reassurance.
