This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom this year are fifth graders that will benefit from access to a well-rounded curriculum.

Fifth graders at our Magnet School come from a diverse background and along with that, they are able to offer their wealth of knowledge into the classroom discussions.

They are critical thinkers and thrive on the livelihood of their classroom. They enjoy taking ownership of their learning and look for challenges within the curriculum presented that will further their educational experiences.

My Project

These materials will help support our Endangered Animal Club. The book shelfs will allow for an easier display of the3 books and items we have collected and used to display the animals we have supported. The display case will be in a central location at school where the club will be able to display meeting information, details about the endangered animal we are researching and trying to help protect. These items will help to make our club flourish and allow the students to feel like the Endangered Animal Club is a place where we can meet and help make a difference in the world around us.
