Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our school, we proudly offer a variety of junior high sports teams, including volleyball, basketball, track, eSports, and soccer. Now, we are excited to expand our athletic program by adding a Flag Football team, giving even more students the opportunity to stay active, build teamwork, and develop leadership skills. I love how eager and hardworking my students are, always ready to try new activities and support one another. Unfortunately, my tall orange cones don’t clearly mark the end zones, leading to confusion and out-of-bounds plays.
End zone pylons will provide clear boundaries, making gameplay more realistic, organized, and exciting.
Flag football is a fantastic team sport that teaches quickness, hand-eye coordination, and cooperation. It benefits students both physically and socially, helping them make new friends and strengthen important interpersonal skills. While pylons may seem like a small addition, they create a more authentic game-day experience and elevate the quality of our lunchtime intramural league.
