Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from Arcadia and Nocatee Florida mostly. A few come from Port Charlotte. Some are migrant and come and go throughout the school year. Most are very loving, sweet, eager to learn, and fun to be around! I love these students so much and want to give them as much as I can. Some need more attention and love than others. I want to make sure they have what they need in the classroom to succeed. Even though I spend a good amount each year, I need your help! With your help, it will become a reality!
My Project
We are almost completely out of markers and always need snacks! One box of cereal only lasts a day or two. My students cannot afford to bring in snacks for the class and I have spent over $100.00 of my own money.
These supplies will be used every day.
It's hard to just let some of them have snacks and I am constantly buying more. The markers are in very low supply and are very helpful to use in Reading and Math projects. We practice math facts with expo markers and white boards. Thank you so much for your help!
