Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, students like to be rewarded for helping others, keeping our campus clean, showing responsibility, kindness towards others, and other positive behaviors. This helps to teach my students the benefits of helping others and their community.

Our Terrapin store is our classroom store where students can purchase items every two weeks with their earned class tickets throughout the school year..

Students earn tickets by keeping their desks clean, having their chromebook charged, helping others without asking, cleaning up our classroom or anywhere on campus, etc. These fidget toys are very popular with my students and will work for class tickets in order to purchase the items. They often use them in class as they feel they need to in order to help them.

To celebrate their hard work throughout the school year, I would like to host an End of Year Terrapin Store with extra special prizes for my students, many of whom have been saving their tickets all year!
