This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Being a kindergarten teacher means needing and using up lots of materials and needing many resources. My students are all newcomer ELL students and they need and use many materials daily.
These materials would be amazing to have to finish out the school year and to use during summer school and for the upcoming school year.
The hot glue guns and sticks will be used to make projects and to hang up resources. The coloring books will be used in the calm down corner for students to use to self regulate with. The headband will be used to show students that I am busy. The happy face stickers will be used for their daily behavior charts. The storage will be used to keep together new student materials so they are easy to find. The magnetic circles and tacky glue will be used for new students also and for centers.
