Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am looking for help with end-of-the-year snacks for my students.

Snacks are a hot commodity with my students, as they are VERY food-driven.

Many of my students come from low-income homes, struggling to afford basic needs and food. My snack cabinet gets them excited and gives them some motivation to want to do well and try and earn a treat.

I also use my less popular snacks (crackers, granola bars, and Goldfish) to help with the "hungries" since all the kids have different lunch waves, sometimes not eating until almost 1 pm. Some students also come to school late, and haven't eaten breakfast for whatever reason, so those snacks come in handy then too.

Anything helps and is VERY much appreciated!
