This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we continue to foster a love of reading in our 5th grade classroom, we are reaching out to ask for your support in expanding our library with some highly requested and beloved book series. Our students are eager to dive into graphic novels and engaging series like I Survived Graphic Novels, The Baby-Sitters Club, Who Would Win?, and Roblox Diaries.
These books are not only incredibly popular among our young readers, but also serve as powerful tools for building literacy skills, fostering imagination, and encouraging reluctant readers to pick up a book.
Graphic novels, in particular, help bridge the gap for students who may struggle with traditional texts while still providing rich storytelling and valuable lessons.
