This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the end of the year approaches, my students will be working on a project that involves them writing comic strips for the book "Milkweed". They need headphones to have access to the audiobook online, and unfortunately we have run out for the year. The kids are always asking for sharpies when they work on projects to outline their work. I never have enough on hand for everyone. They will also need markers to color in their comic strips. These supplies are usually filled at the beginning of the year, but by May we have run dry.
