This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students have done a wonderful job this year getting our band program back up and playing together in person. We worked hard during marching season and are proud of the Cartoon Show we performed many times up through the end of October. We had a successful winter concert and the group was just awarded straight superior ratings that the Marching Performance Assessment in March (the highest ratings possible).
As we slide into the remainder of the year, we are running low on some supplies we need for our music making.
We still have a number of concerts and events we are excited to present, but we are dangerously close to running out of reeds and a few other disposable items. We are asking you to help us acquire supplies that will go directly into students' hands to help them continue making their beautiful music!
