This project is for the entire first grade at our school. As a grade, our students have worked hard all year. They have grown in so many ways- not just academically.
As a reward, we want to celebrate our students!
We were able to receive funding for most of the black lights from our PTA, however, we still need extra support for the fun, neon, glow-in-the-dark activities! These glow party activities include painting, glow-in-the-dark slime, neon playdough, STEM building with the fort kit, and fine motor skills using the glow-in-the-dark pony beads.
This project will allow for our grade level to have a glow party. The glow party will provide different experiences to celebrate positive behavior and all they have learned this school year. We wanted to do something students will always remember about elementary school.
Glow parties offer an electrifying experience that ignites students' excitement and fosters unforgettable memories. Beyond the lights and vibrant neon colors, these events provide a unique platform for social interaction and expression. Students are not merely attendees; they become immersed in an atmosphere of camaraderie and uninhibited fun. Moreover, glow parties promote inclusivity, as everyone, regardless of background or personality, can partake in the luminous festivities. By hosting a glow party, our grade can cultivate a sense of community while providing students with a safe and exhilarating environment to connect. From enhancing mental well-being to fostering friendships, the benefits of glow parties extend far beyond the classroom, leaving a lasting impact on students' overall collegiate experience.
