Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have worked so hard this year! It was a tough transition from Kindergarten to 1st grade and we worked hard on our social skills this year. We want to celebrate the work they did this year and give them small gifts to encourage the further development of their social skills over the summer.
These presents will only continue to help them work on socializing with others over the summer.
The gifts will also have the added benefit of helping our kids get outside and play. The items in the baskets are all things they can use at the park or at the beach and with friends.
