Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This year has been a real challenge that has brought many changes to everything we do in class. One thing that is coming around that I would like to plan for and make special is our end of the year events.

I would love to give the students in my class a fun gift to celebrate the end of school year. These materials will help end the school year on a fun note and start the summer with fun new summer items. I hope that the water bottles, beach ball, and butterfly catcher will keep them busy outdoors since many children tend to get bored without their classmates or schoolwork.
It is known that children that spend more time outside are more likely to protect our nature as they grow up and help improve overall their physical health, which is closely linked to mental health. Sunglasses, toys, beach balls, play-doh, and prizes what a great way to spend some time outside over the summer.
The other items requested are basic school supplies that are needed on a daily basis and need to be replenished. We are also preparing for the next school year, 2024-2025.
