it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello! I am a first-grade teacher at a low income Title I school. Every single student receives free breakfast and lunch. My students are an eclectic bunch, each with backgrounds distinct as a fingerprint. They come from different neighborhoods, states, and even countries.
My students have worked incredibly hard this year and I know how much they deserve an awesome end of the year.
I am beyond proud of my students and the amazing growth they have made. They have surpassed my expectations and it's all thanks to their hard work and dedication. Because of this, I want to reward them with an awesome end of the year. I plan to gift them a copy of The Night Before Second Grade, bubbles, sunglasses, a water bottle, and a plushie of our school mascot: an eagle. In our last week of school, I plan on having them tie dye their own t-shirt that every student will sign.
My students have blown me away this year and I want to reward them for all their determination.
