My Students
The students in my classroom are HARD WORKERS! We've written papers, built dioramas, 3D printed, glued art projects, painted masterpieces, and more! My students love getting their hands on with our learning and have gone through many supplies in the process.
These 2nd graders put forth so much effort in their creations, and it shows.
I am so excited for the learning that my students have showcased this year. They take time to do quality work and their effort definitely shows. These kids come from families who support and nurture their creative drive and give them the tools they need to be successful later in their education and life.
My Project
These items are not on your typical back-to-school list, but as essential in our classroom! These are the items that I spend my money on that give students what they need to succeed. They are the "behind-the-scene" items that keep us up and running through the year.
These items are not on school supply lists, but are used daily in our classroom.
In order for anything to last in our classroom, it needs to be laminated. I have asked for two different thicknesses of laminating pouches to keep our classroom activities nice and able to be used throughout the year.
Dry erase markers are the bigfoot of the classroom. We have a feeling they exist, we're just not sure where! ;) Having dry erase markers on hand make it possible to change the date, display lunch choices, and most of all teach!
I have also requested florescent light covers. It is distracting to turn our lights on and off during lessons in order to see the smart board. Having the light covers would make it possible to see the board and our classwork at the same time.
It's these little things that make a BIG difference!
