Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The end of the year is coming. I like to send the students off with a remembrance from the year. It will also be the book I end the year with, doing a unit on connection and kindness.

Students want connection, especially when they feel alone.

I want them to have a book that they can read to remind them of how we are all connected the special people in our lives.

Help me help my students feel that connection to each other and the value of a book that helps them understand and not feel alone. Having a book of there own means so much to them. I want to give them the gift of connection.
