This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These 5th graders have been working hard all year. They have learned about physical and chemical changes, conservation of matter, and how engery moves through ecosystems. They will get to increase their own energy by eating treats during our end of year party.

To celebrate the students hard work, they will be making homemade ice cream.

Each student will get to make and then enjoy their own ice cream that they made. In making the ice cream they will be seeing and creating a chemical change and observing the conservation of matter.
