My Project

For our end of the school year project in U.S. Government, we have decided to read and analyze the book, "All American Boys" by Brendan Kiely and Jason Reynolds. This book tells the story of two teenage boys, Rashad Butler and Quinn Collins, as they handle racism and police brutality in their community. We chose to read this particular novel because it is relevant to our society today and it allows us to critically analyze how this topic is relevant to our daily lives.

Please consider donating a class set of "All American Boys" to our class to assist us in deeper analysis of major themes we have discussed this school year.

Throughout this school year, we have studied the ins and outs of American Government, in particular the rights given to all citizens in the Constitution and the protections extended to minority groups in a majority rule society. We are looking forward to reading this book as our end of year project!
