My Project

We are looking to help our kids end the year with a spectacular event of outdoor and indoor games! Our students work so hard throughout the year, constantly learning and being engaged with academic material. Our kids deserve one day where they can just be kids- playing games, enjoying the sunshine and laughter of friendship and fun! Throughout the year, they are constantly working on achieving the high academic standards that are set for them. Therefore, they deserve a BIG BASH to celebrate the end of the school year and all their achievements. We have planned a full day of fun that includes an indoor carnival with activities like face painting, indoor darts, tic-tac-toss and a musical book walk. Then they will transition outside to enjoy the sunshine and play games like corn hole, ladder ball, connect four and races.

Too often our kids end up sitting for a majority of the day, with only one recess period.

Though our teachers get creative with "brain breaks" and allow for movement, the reality is, the kids need more than 15 minutes of physical activity each day during recess. They only get to enjoy PE class twice a week! Needless to say, this ALL day event is something our kids look forward to all year long. It is the motivator that helps them push through the last 6 weeks of school when they are consumed by end of year testing. This event allows the kids to spend not just 15 minutes outside, but ALL DAY OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM! They get to just be kids! This awesome day of fun-filled activities will allow our kids the break they deserve! We can celebrate their year-long hard work and promotion to the next grade!
