Help me give my students some nice new technology and finish off a great year. The primary reason is to support a visual aide center and the adapter to split the source.
We are a group of learners with some uphill battles. We look toward each day as an opportunity to learn. We, as a team, encounter the task to overcome adversity through the spread of information and advocacy for our inclusion.
My students, plain and simple, require more attention, focus, resources, accommodations, and plain old love than your average little boy or girl.
This does not make them better, nor does it make them worse. We are simply a magical classroom effected by a terrible tragedy, CAMP 2018, and looking for a fresh start.
My Project
This project would couple with our progressive classroom environment, which gives emphasis to sensory accessible components, while providing supports to the children with both hypo and hyper sensitive tendencies. The materials that I am requesting provide vibrant images to cater to these sensory needs, allowing for each student to work within their comfort zones while within our classroom.
These constants provide a stable platform for learning of all capacities, ranging from social/emotional experiences to GRR modeled learning to overall life skills.
Our classroom has been very fortunate this year during our rebuilding process following the CAMP fire. Every student deserves their own accessible, positive experience and we hope to provide.
