Please consider allowing me to get these nutritious, delicious, an "in-demand" snacks for my classroom. My students come from diverse backgrounds, ethnically, and financially. Many of them cannot afford to bring in a snack.
This project would allow me to refill our snack pantry at school with animal crackers and capri suns so that no matter what their income, each and every student can just grab a snack when they are hungry!
We have been doing this snack pantry for three years now and it truly helps to level the playing field in the classroom and erase food insecurity for at least 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. Their worries are erased when they realize it is truly about hunger and not about a lack of money! Thank you for your help! This project will also enable us to help other classrooms in need, filling their cupboards and taking away the fear and stigma that often comes with poverty! A full student is an optimal learner. Thank you for helping me meet their basic needs!
