Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This has been an AWESOME and the most enjoyable school year! I appreciate my students’ hard work and dedication to learning. I’m honored to have worked with such an outstanding group. They have demonstrated eagerness to learn and how to work together as a team! Most importantly they’ve followed our school motto… Show Up, Work Hard, and Read! I would like to show my appreciation to their determination to succeeding by giving them an end of the year celebration. Beginning May 13th, we will begin our events of fun! For instance, we will have Play Doh Day, Movie in the Field Day, Camping Out Day, Chalk Day, Blowing Bubbles Day, and Flying Kites! The kites will symbolize flying into 2nd grade! Additionally, this will demonstrate to my students that hard work does pay off! We greatly appreciate the support to our education and dedication to making learning fun!
