My Project
We test all the time at my school. MAP testing in September, January and March. CMA's in October, February, and April. and of course the End of Course test in mid-April. Students are over tested and stressed out. My goal is to provide goodie bags on test day to help them relax. Gum,candy, sunglasses, stress balls, and fidget items can play an important role in reducing stress for students on test day. By providing a physical and mental outlet for nervous energy, these items can help students feel more relaxed, focused, and in control, which can lead to improved test performance.
By providing these goodie bags I am hopeful that my students will be able to better focus on their exams (worth 20% of their final grade) without over stressing and making simple errors.
