My Project

High School alone can be a very stressful place. Many times students have difficulty expressing their frustrations and lack the appropriate coping skills needed to regulate their emotions. The sidewalk signs, meditation breathing light, and other items on our list will be used to enhance our wellness room and provide students with learning tools that promote prosocial behaviors. Our wellness team is working endlessly to decrease the stigma around seeking support for mental health issues. The materials will be used in our group sessions to address student’s mental health needs and equip staff with tools to enhance service delivery.
