This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items will help build the dramatic play center of my dreams! I teach students with disabilities, which may cause delays in some skill areas. These skills include fine motor skills, gross motor skills, emotional, social, and language development.

Having the resources to build a dramatic play center will give my students the opportunity to practice these skills.

The idea is to use the grocery store to role-play what it would be like in a real-life situation with a cashier, customer, and stocker. This can help teach my students multiple skills all in one center!
