This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children learn best when they are having fun, and art is a great way of implementing early learning skills. Children are not only learning to be creative and express themselves, but they are also learning essential pre-writing skills.

With the art easel, the children can paint and draw on an upright surface which will help strengthen muscles in their forearms that are connected to their fingers, thus strengthening their fine motor skills.

Through art, children are learning how to hold a pencil correctly, create controlled movements, and cut properly. They are also strengthening the small muscles in their fingers, hands, and wrists which is vital in being able to write properly.
