My students are four and five year old children who are full of excitement and eager to learn every morning when they walk into school. Many of our children come from immigrant families who do not speak English as their first language. However, our families always emphasize the importance of school and exceptional education for their children.
One hundred percent of the children in my classroom receive free breakfast and lunch.
Many of the children I teach are living in poverty. Although their basic needs are not always met at home, they still have a love for learning that makes it easy to come to work every day and teach them!
I would love to gift my students with the ball and cup game to play at home over summer break to strengthen their gross and fine motor skills! The sensory paint will be a great addition to our art area to give the children a new and exciting play time activity! The floating letters will be something fun to put in our sensory table. They will encourage children to work on letter names and sounds while playing! All three items would give my preschoolers positive learning experiences that will make them excited to learn while playing as our school year is coming to an end.
