This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With "Beyond the Laces" Bob Salomon and his team created a movement surrounding the book's message to inspire children through kindness and encouraging students to never give up. The story focuses on a child and his family going through a hard time and looks at the impact the boy's favorite football player #87 has on his life. The Beyond The Laces message is being embraced by many throughout the country, especially those in the world of professional sports... It is absolutely amazing to see how kindness can ripple through a community to unite it and make a difference in the lives of our children. We would be thrilled to speak with Bob and his crew virtually due to present Covid restrictions.
