This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a group of enthusiastic and hard-working students who are eager to thrive in all they do. From reading to math and outside activities, they enjoy exploring and surpassing obstacles that they encounter. As a class, we are working on truly incorporating the arts. We have begun to learn the artistic styles of artists. My students have expressed interest in learning art techniques and creating more masterpieces.
Let's provide students with an opportunity for their creativity to blossom to its full potential.
I can already see their faces light up with so much excitement when they see their easels and canvases set up. They will be beyond ecstatic the minute they reach for their paintbrushes and select the paints they will use to create their masterpieces.
Not only will this project allow for creativity to flow in our classroom, but this experience will flow across our curriculum, as we read about artists, develop social skills, and reflect on our masterpieces through writing.
