Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All students deserve access to learning. To do this, we are asking for materials to help them such as dry erase markers, erasers and pencils. I am hoping to provide each student with their own materials to reduce the spreading of germs.

Students want to learn in a space that is clean and safe.

With the use of materials and moments of sharing sanitation is also needed. To help students maintain their areas I am asking for cloths and dry erase cleaner. This will help their areas still look presentable and ready to do more work.

In the past students have enjoyed book studies and have been more engaged in reading. I would like to provide this opportunity for future students by having sets of books.

I would also like to make a welcoming classroom environment by using materials such as adhesive magnets and velcro dots to help decorate the room. Students also will have access to helping create the room by making anchor charts and doing group work using colored markers.

My end goal is to continue to make a space where students have access to learning along with the motivation to continue their learning. I want them all to be engaged in their success and take ownership in what they are capable of.
