My Project

The fantasy genre encourages students to think beyond the confines of our world and engages their imagination while improving literacy. These books often contain complex plots with political dynamics and intricate world-building. These components require students to use critical thinking skills and text analysis as they read, promoting literacy and academic success.

Through "Enchanted Pages," students will gain valuable insight into diverse perspectives and universal motifs that undermine the human experience.

My students face challenges in their every day lives and often feel discouraged. Fantasy novels feature protagonists who overcome seemingly impossible challenges while learning that their power comes from within themselves. Students will be inspired and reminded that they are enough to face any difficulty life gives them.
