My Students

My students come from a wide variety of diverse cultural backgrounds. My students also speak a multitude of languages. My students also come from different economic backgrounds, over 90% of them receive free lunch. Although my students come from so many backgrounds, they all come to school eager to learn each and every day. They work so hard trying to read and write. They also love to learn math, social studies, and science! They are a wonderful, hard-working group of students.

My Project

My first grade students need seat pocket organizers to organize their classroom supplies. They will be able to use their seat pockets to put their folders and notebooks. For the past few years, the students have reused the same seat pockets. The seat pockets that we currently have are in poor condition and will not help my students with their organization.

The seat pocket organizers will help to reinforce that organization is a huge component of their education.

By using the seat pockets, my first grade students will know exactly where their materials are located and will increase instructional time.
