My students need school supplies (pencils, folders, markers, tape, staples, pens) and classroom supplies (facial tissues, paper towels, batteries, and cleaner).
Do you have a pencil? My students often don't. They lack even basic school supplies. We also need cleaning supplies to minimize the germs and tissues for when we succumb. I often provide these for my students, but it gets expensive. We need help with these classroom essentials.
My students are bright and charming students with a variety of speech and language challenges.
Some are on the autism spectrum, others stutter, some have a tough time understanding what they hear, but all have language-learning disabilities. They are a diverse group of city kids. Some come from Haiti, the Dominican Republic, China, Puerto Rico and Vietnam. They are all funny, sweet, generous, and engaging.
My Project
We are requesting the most basic supplies for our classroom. These items are a must! We need school supplies (folders, pencils, pens, dry erase markers) for our speech-language therapy sessions, cleaning supplies (paper towels and cleaning spray) to maintain our clean and happy classroom, and facial tissues for our runny noses.
These supplies are simple, but necessary.
We'll make good use of them, but need help making sure we have enough for everyone for the year. We hope you'll consider supporting our efforts. We take pride in our clean, happy, and productive classroom. We appreciate your consideration. Thank you!
