My Project
Hi! I’m a passionate educator working with bright, curious students in Preschool at a Title 1 school. My mission is to lay a strong foundation for reading success by aligning instruction with the Science of Reading—a research-based approach that emphasizes phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Many of my students are building their reading skills from the ground up, and they need more than just books—they need hands-on, multisensory tools that make abstract concepts concrete.
Right now, our classroom lacks essential manipulatives like sound boxes, letter tiles, phoneme-grapheme mapping boards, and blending mats—tools proven to reinforce the brain’s connection between sounds and letters.
Your support will bring high-quality literacy manipulatives into our daily lessons. These materials will help students practice phonemic awareness, decode words more fluently, and build confidence as readers. With these tools, I can provide targeted, differentiated instruction that meets each learner where they are.
