This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With a huge learning gap, it's essential to equip my students with not just academic knowledge but also practical skills that will prepare them for future success. This project aims to introduce vocational skills training programs targeted at elementary special education students, laying the foundation for their holistic development and future career readiness.

Using online resources from TPT, we will be able to produce and print real image materials with different vocational skills that will be organized in variation and levels reaching all abilities.

We want to recreate an office work environment thus introducing paper shredding, letter sorting, organizing, and laminating. Laminator is also important to make sure that the materials we produce can last long. Using the small drawers, storage boxes, and pocket chart will keep the vocational area organized and well-maintained. Creating vocational stations and making the environment close to reality will help my students zone in their work mode.
