Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Donors Choose project aims to provide essential supplies for our classroom, ensuring that every student has the tools they need to unleash their creativity and excel academically. With a focus on markers, crayons, colored pencils, pencils, and erasers, we're aiming to stock our classroom with the fundamental resources that foster imagination and learning. These materials serve as the building blocks for countless projects, from vibrant art creations to meticulous note-taking and problem-solving.
By having a variety of colors, including multicultural skin tone colors, and writing utensils readily available, students can express themselves freely, engage more deeply with their coursework, and explore their potential in diverse ways.
Furthermore, access to quality supplies eliminates barriers to participation and ensures that all students, regardless of socioeconomic background, can fully participate in classroom activities.
