Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a Special Education Teacher in the largest Title 1 school in our city. I am teaching students with Autism at different grade levels. For this generation of students, the use of technology is essential to their interest in learning. Students show eagerness to learn and are motivated to use technology like the iPad and Pencil. Using this Apple iPad in the classroom will make differentiated instruction easier in one place where each student is provided equal access to standard-based instruction and assignments that meet their individual learning needs. Seeing them learning technology is a fulfillment.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
