it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My third-grade students are curious, creative, and eager to explore the world of technology and innovation. They thrive when given the opportunity to choose their learning path, which is why I’m excited to provide them with trade books focused on advancements in technology. These books will allow them to dive into essential concepts like innovation, problem-solving, and the impact of technology on our lives.
With these resources, my students will create book reports that go beyond traditional reading assignments.
They’ll integrate art and technology, using their creativity to express what they’ve learned in unique and meaningful ways. By incorporating choice and autonomy, I aim to foster a love of reading and empower my students to become critical thinkers and problem-solvers.
My goal is to support their development in listening, reading, writing, and speaking while meeting WIDA standards. These books will help them connect the dots between past innovations and future possibilities, all while building essential literacy and communication skills.
My students are special because they embrace challenges and are eager to learn about the world around them. This project will not only enhance their understanding of technology but also inspire them to think creatively about the role they can play in shaping the future.
